FALL TRYOUTS 2024-2025

Club Idaho FALL tryouts are open to any volleyball player regardless of the club you have played for in the past. We encourage all players to come and see what we have to offer. Our teams are designed for players seeking to compete at a high level. We offer teams for all skill levels. Players are selected on skill levels, positive attitude, communication, and work ethic.

Club season runs from October - May. Practices will start the middle of November.

All players must have a 2025 AAU membership card to register and tryout.

Go to https://aauvolleyball.org and get a membership and choose Youth Athlete and purchase the card. Then enter that number in the tryout registration. See link below. Please use the Club Idaho code on the membership. Type in Club Idaho and it will come up in the box.

Tryout registration must be done online. Please follow the USAV/AAU Age Definitions for 2025 to register for tryouts. You must come to the tryout for your age group/grade level. Players are allowed to try out in an older age group with permission from the club director - email clubidahovb@gmail.com.

ALL players that participated in Summer Tryouts need to register for Fall Tryouts but will not have to pay. A link will be emailed to you so that you can register.

Why do I need an AAU Membership for tryouts?

All athletes must have a membership # to enter into the registration. Without this membership, athletes are not allowed to be on the court at all. This is the insurance that the facilities require us to have to use their gyms.

What if I am 14 but in the grade with all the players that are 15? Can I play up?

This happens often and we allow players to play up. You can come to the older tryout and let the CID coaches know that you want to play on the older team with your classmates.

Do I need to come to Fall tryouts if I made a team in the Summer?

Yes, all players must be at Fall Tryouts to be on the team. All players that paid for summer tryouts will not have to pay for Fall Tryouts.

Do I need to be at the signing meeting?

Yes, one parent and the player MUST be at the signing meeting. It will start at 6:30pm with one big meeting of each age group and then we will divide by teams and signs papers.
